Private Party In The Cold🎉🎊🎁
Rambling On… 22 July 2022.
Last Friday was my husband’s birthday.
I asked him if he wanted to go out for dinner, but he said no. He told me he wanted to stay home light a fire in the firepit outside, and have a few drinks and a few laughs.We had a barbecue even though it’s the middle of winter and has been damned cold. Well cold for us even though we don’t get snow where we live. We do get minus 0 degrees in temperature as well as hail and rain which you could call sleet.
Anyway, thankfully we have a large pergola which kept us dry from the rain. My son, unfortunately, had to work that night, but my daughter came home, and my son’s girlfriend was also there.
I made gluten free hamburgers and marinated chicken for shish kabobs with hunks of capsicum and zucchini. They were delicious.
We had lots of laughs and a few drinks. My man had more than a few and woke up looking a little worse for wear the next day, but he had a good time. I made too much food which meant we were able to have left over barbecue the next night.
My sister’s birthday was on Wednesday and my father’s is on Saturday the 23rd. He will be turning 80 years old.
We’re all getting together Saturday night to celebrate the three July birthdays in one go and going out for dinner. It should be a good night and I know I won’t have to worry about the food or getting sick since the restaurant is a familiar Thai place and the staff willingly cater to intolerances and allergies.

What Have I Been Writing?
I’m writing 2 books again this month and I’m onto the second one. It will be touch and go whether I finish the second book in time, but I’ll work late until it’s done.
I finished writing the fourth and final book in my Fae Kingdom series and then I started a new series set on a ranch in Montana.
I hope you all enjoy my work if and when it’s released for publication.

What Have I Been Reading?
I’ve just finished reading Christine Feehan’s Shadow Warrior (The Shadow Series Book 4) and I loved it.
Reading about alpha male Vittorio Ferraro and Grace Murphy kept me hooked from the first page to the last.
Ms Feehan is the queen of paranormal romance fiction as far as I’m concerned. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who loves a great romance novel.
I will leave it there for now.
