I’m A True Romantic – Do You Feel The Love???

Rambling On… 14 February 2020.

So, even though my hubby is still booked out with work ‘til the end of March, the frenetic pace we’ve been working at is finally starting to ease.

Thank goodness.

He’s going great guns with his new business and doing such a fantastic job, his customers are giving him five star reviews, but I’m honestly not surprised because he is a bit of a perfectionist, which in my mind is a good thing and the only way to be when you have paying customers.

I am so proud of my husband and love him heaps. He’s my best friend and the most amazing person I know. We’ve had our ups and downs just like everyone else, but we stick with each other like glue. He’s the other half to my heart and soul and I love him so much. The best day of my life was when I met him at my sister’s twenty-first birthday so many years ago.

I was nineteen and he’d just turned twenty.

As cliché as it sounds, I knew that he was meant to be mine. Even though I didn’t know him, I felt as if I’d known him for years. You might all laugh at that and think I’m full of shit, but I’m not making this up. It’s true. I just knew he was right for me. He took a bit more time to realise that I was right for him, too, but he is a male after all. Lol. We married at Twenty-two and Twenty-three and are still going strong.

Who says love doesn’t last? We’re living proof that it does.

I Hope You All Have Had A Great Valentines Day

——————————————-

We’re both really tired though after months of stress and the relentless pace of working so much. We really need a break if only for the weekend and next weekend we’re thinking of going camping.

We’re not sure where yet since we’re waiting on weather forecasts but I’m excited and hope our plans come to fruition. My man thinks he’ll be finished working by lunchtime next Friday and if nothing happens to muck that up, we’re going to pack up the Mazda BT50 and take off for a couple of nights of relaxation and to commune with nature.

That may mean that there mightn’t be a newsletter next week, but maybe, depending on how much work my hubby has on his plate, we can prepare it on Thursday instead of Friday like we normally do.

Please don’t hold me that.

Since my other half does all the computer and IT stuff—I’m totally clueless with anything on the PC unless it’s word, email or helping my man do his quotes since he taught me—it mightn’t happen.

I’m hoping it does though.

This weekend, on Saturday, is my niece’s daughter’s 1st birthday. We’ve been invited to my niece’s home to celebrate and we’re going. It will be so nice to watch the little ones play and catch up with family I don’t see often enough.

Sunday, I’m hoping we have a nice restful day at home. Not for me but for my hubby. He’s looking quite weary at the moment but that’s understandable since he’s been working his arse off.

Stay safe, healthy and happy.

What Have I Been Writing?

I’m still writing Beautifully Imperfect: Joelle’s Saving Grace, (Book 1), in my new series.

The story’s coming along well and I’m loving writing this new book. So often we read about perfect people in a perfect world which is fine, but reality is so far from perfection. I’m not telling you anything else about my new story or series, because I don’t want to give away any more than I already have.

You’ll just have to wait until I’ve finished writing it and it’s up for sale to find out what it’s all about.

What Have I Been Reading?

I’ve just finished reading, Elizabeth Reyes, Making You Mine, (The Moreno Brothers) and it was good.

There were a few typos which I know can be easily overlooked, since when an author edits her own work, the brain reads what is supposed to be down on the page rather than what actually is, but that didn’t detract from the story. There was good character development and the plot was realistic.

I enjoyed this contemporary romance story.

I will leave it there for now.
Enjoy your week ahead, until next week.

Love,
