We Are Going Camping! Or Are We?
Rambling On… 17 July 2020.
I don’t think hubby and I will be going away at the end of the month after all. #Sigh#
More and more parts of Victoria are being put into lock down again as the second of Covid-19 sweeps through the state.
Even my son who was working at a club, restaurant bar, isn’t going to be working again as the club will be closing again.
Maybe us not being able to go away is a good thing as most of my son’s neighbours have signed up to have the fencing bordering their properties and my boy’s home by my hubby. I don’t think my poor man is going to have time to have a break.
September might be the earliest we can get away and you never know, just maybe Covid-19 will have been eradicated by then, but if not, lets hope the amazing scientist in Queensland and Melbourne who are already doing human based trials on a vaccine, is approved and on the market so we can all be vaccinated.
However, I think it might take a bit longer than a couple of months before we’re able to be inoculated from the dreaded virus. Let’s hope I’m wrong.
Nevertheless, I called my sister last night and asked her if she and her hubby would like to come to my house for dinner or lunch on the weekend since we wouldn’t be breaking any restriction rules. It was my man’s birthday on Wednesday the 15th and will be my sister’s birthday on the 20th of July. I thought it would be nice for a small get together to celebrate.
She advised me that she was going to spend the weekend on her vacant block about an hour or so away from our hometown and do some work, but instead of refusing my invite she made a counter offer and asked my man and I if we’d like to join them on their block and camp out for the night.
I jumped at the opportunity to get away from home even though it’s only for one night. It will be really nice to catch up with them, share a glass of wine or two while sitting around a campfire laughing and talking.
I’m sure the walls of the house are closing in on my and if they move any closer, I’m not sure if I’ll ever get out. Lol.
I called my daughter the other day to ask if she’s heard anything about being nominated for apprentice of the year. Unfortunately, no one has contacted her and it’s just a waiting game. Nobody knows what’s happening because of the pandemic.
Stay safe, healthy, sane, and happy.

What Have I Been Writing?
I’m still writing the fifth book in my Beautifully Imperfect series. The story is coming along nicely, and I hope that you all enjoy reading about Mercedes Nichols and her men if Siren BookStrand decide my book is good enough to publish.
I will of course start on Cindy’s book from the Pack Law series after that. I’m excited about writing her story even though I haven’t started it yet and won’t be until next month.
Thanks to Janice and Carol for the emails asking about Cindy.

What Have I Been Reading?
I’ve recently finished reading Anna Hackett’s Mark of Eon, (Eon Warriors Book 5).
Reading about the story of human, Jamie Park and her Eon warrior, Medical Commander Aydin Kann-Ath and the conflict they went through for the happily ever after kept me engrossed from the first page to the last.
If you love a good Sci-Fi romance, then check this book out. It was great.
I will leave it there for now.
Enjoy your week ahead, until next week.
Love,
