She’s Got The Job!!
Rambling On… 13th November 2020.
An hour ago, 4:00 p.m. Friday afternoon, we got some amazing news.
🎊My daughter got the job.🎉
She came home on Tuesday for the job interview and though she said one of the interviewees was easy to read and seemed to be happy with her, she told us the second guy was impossible to figure out.
Having her home after not seeing her for six months blew my work schedule away, but I don’t care because I got to spend two days with my girl. She stayed over for two nights since she was told she would find out if she got the job on Thursday. The reason being her toolbox is really big and heavy and she was hoping to drive my BT50 home and leave her car with me so she could transport all her tools down for the new job.
Her vehicle wouldn’t handle such a heavy load. However, she didn’t hear anything and left for her own place late Thursday afternoon.
She was a little dejected thinking she hadn’t been successful, and I was a bit sad for her, too.
We crossed the bridge before we got to it.
My girl is driving back to us tomorrow, Saturday, to swap vehicles with me and going home on the same day which will make a long tiring day for her since it will be at least a four hour round trip—drive time only.
She’ll be back on Sunday and will be staying for the rest of the week to work. It will be a bit hard for a few weeks until she can find her own place and then move her man and her fur babies down with her. Of course, we’ll help them move when she finds where she wants to live.
I’m so excited to have my girl moving closer to her family. Instead of seeing each other every couple of months or so we’ll be able to get together more often.
She’s been away from us for over ten years and I’m so looking forward to having more time with her and her partner.
My son is doing well and is happy to be back at work.
My hubby has been home for the last two days catching up on office work so needless to say it’s been noisier than normal and harder for me to work, but I’m not bothered by it.
I’ll have to work longer hours for the rest of the month, but I’ll get this book finished no matter what.
Victoria, Melbourne inclusive has had no new Covid-19 cases for fourteen days straight which is fantastic news.
Borders between state to state will start opening at the end of this month and the beginning of next.
Australia is starting to get back to business and normal. I just hope we stay that way and don’t have to go into lockdown again.
I hope you are all staying safe and keeping your distance.
Stay safe, happy, sane, and healthy.

What Have I Been Writing?
I’m still writing Beautifully Imperfect 7. I have to admit, I’m behind, but I don’t care. I will work hard to catch up and finish this story by the end of the month. Family takes precedence over work for me always.
Selina and her men are really starting to bond and though I’m not quite sure where the plot is going yet, I’m loving what I’ve written so far.

What Have I Been Reading?
I finished reading Kris Michaels, Thanatos (Guardian Security Shadow World Book 4). I really liked this book but there was a part near the end where I wasn’t sure I liked the heroine anymore. However, after the situation was explained I changed my mind. There was a lot of action and some steamy scenes and a happily ever after. I’d recommend this book to read.
I will leave it there for now.
Enjoy your week ahead, until next week.
Love,
Becca Van XXOO
