Missing Our Freedom, Planning A Weekend Trip.
Rambling On… 2nd October 2020.
Sorry I didn’t send out a newsletter last week. Time was a big issue with my man and me. My hubby worked at a big job last week and came home bone weary each night and I didn’t think it was fair of me to ask him to do his internet magic since he could barely keep his eyes open.
My son has sold his house and signed the contract today, Friday. Yay. Though it’s a load off, he’s feeling a bit down. He so wanted to move into his own home and after dealing with heartbreak and still being stuck at home with the olds, he’s a bit low.
I know he’ll pick up again and I’m hoping the next girl he goes out with will be the right one. One who’ll treat him with respect instead of ordering him about while sitting on her arse. A woman who’ll work with him instead of expecting everything to be done for her.
Enough said about that subject. 😠
I just want my son to be happy and to find the perfect girl for him.
My daughter is still in lockdown, but things are slowly starting to change as the coronavirus cases lesson. I miss her heaps.
There’s talk about all the borders from state to state in our country opening up nationwide on the 1st of December, but of course, that will be dependent on the lessening spread of the virus. I’m keeping my fingers crossed and hope that we’ll all be able to get together for Christmas. Though it will break my heart if that doesn’t happen, I know the restrictions are to keep everyone safe.
Too many people worldwide have already died from this dreaded disease.
Now that the regional Victorian restrictions have eased and the school holidays will be over at the end of this week, hubby and I are planning a small trip away from home.
We were going to go away next Friday and not come back home until Monday, but it turns out we’ll be leaving a day earlier. I can’t wait!! Thanks to one of my man’s clients not getting his paperwork in for a job, early enough, he’s been pushed further back. The other jobs on my man’s books are at least four to five days’ worth of work and it will be pointless starting a job on Thursday which will leave a customer without a fence or partial work done over a weekend.
I’m certainly not complaining and am happy hubby and I can finally have some time out in nature and all alone.
Oh, even though I’m going away next week, I’m still hoping to get a newsletter out to you all. My man will schedule it to come your way as usual before we leave for our short trip unless circumstances change.
Stay safe, healthy, sane, and happy.

What Have I Been Reading?
Over the last couple of weeks, I’ve read all six books in the Galactic Gladiators series, House of Rone, by Anna Hackett.
All these science fiction books were worth the read.
If you love a good sci-fi romance, then these stories are for you. They’re action packed and full of romance.
I will leave it there for now.
Enjoy your week ahead, until next week.
Love,
Becca Van XXOO
