Rambling On… 26 July 2019
Hubby and I have plans to go away in September for our 30th Wedding Anniversary and though I want to have September free and clear from work, I still want to submit a book to be published.
So far, I’m on track since I’ve also started another story today.
It might take a few late nights and maybe a day or two of work on the weekends to achieve my goals, but it will be worth the hard work in the end when I have time out to relax and rejuvenate my mind and body.
I can’t believe I’ve been married for 30 years. My man and I have actually been together for 33 years. Typing that makes me feel old. Lol.
I’m so lucky to have such a wonderful man who’s stuck by me, no matter what. Every relationship has their ups and downs, there struggles and hard times, but that’s just a part of life. The good times certainly weigh up the not so good.
We’re thinking of going camping for two weeks straight away from the stresses of everyday life and to commune with nature. I love camping especially when there’s no one else around to disturb the peace and quiet of the bush.
I just hope the weather warms up a bit and we don’t freeze our arses off. We’ll definitely be heading north to hopefully warmer climes and may camp in a couple of different spots and explore some of the local tourist attractions.
Not sure where we’re going yet but we still have time to make up our minds. Maybe we’ll head to New South Wales (NSW) and find somewhere to put up our tent and have some quiet quality time together.
A day in the life…
Not much has been happening down in my part of the world other than working. We didn’t do much last weekend either and I’m not sure what we’re doing this weekend.
We’ll be getting out of the house though at least one day of this weekend because I’m starting to feel a little hemmed in.
What Have I Been Writing?
I’ve just finished and am about to submit Pack Law 8: Unchartered Territory to Siren BookStrand for possible publication. I’ll be working my fingers to the bone, starting from early July until the end of August as I endeavour to write three books in two months. |

What Have I Been Reading?
I’ve just finished reading Anna Hackett’s Mission: Her Protection (Team 52 Book 1).
If you haven’t read this book, I’d definitely recommend it. I loved reading about Rowan’s struggles and Lachlan’s and his team’s efforts to protect her and keep her safe.
If you like a good romance full of plenty of action and some steamy scenes, this story has it all.
I will leave it there for now.
