Rambling On… 29 November 2019
Hubby is having a ball working and training on his new fencing endeavour. I’m so proud of him because all the people he’d worked with so far says he’s going to “shit it in”. I’d say that those words were theirs, but each night he’s come home and talked about what he’s done, and I said the exact same words to him last night, Thursday.
I’m also proud of my son and daughter.
As you’re all probably aware my baby girl who is close to twenty-eight is now a fully qualified certified mechanic. I’m so happy that she found something she loves and is very good at.
My son also just finished his schooling for his advanced diploma of computer systems engineering yesterday. He needs to update his resume and then he’ll be applying for new jobs. I hope he gets the position he wants.
He and his fiancé also bought a block of land close to twelve months ago and while it was supposed to title in August, due to delays and council regulations, it titled yesterday. Now he and his partner can build their house.
While I love having them both living here, I know their hankering for their own place. According to my son once building starts the house should be up within four months. I’m not going to hold my breath since weather and other unforeseen circumstances can change the timeline.
I hope you all had a great Thanksgiving if you celebrate.
Have a great weekend.
Stay safe, healthy and happy.

What Have I Been Writing?
I’ve just finished writing Pack Law 10: Golden Opportunity last night and have already submitted the story to Siren BookStrand for possible publication.
I can’t believe I managed to get two books out in one month since neither of the stories are very short. In actual fact, I’ve written just over 123,000 words for both books, not inclusive of any edits I’ve done, nor the book covers or synopsis and blurbs. And I have to say I’m exhausted.
I fell asleep on the lounge (sofa) last night which I normally never do and then I went to bed at 10:00.p.m and slept until five this morning, Friday.
I’d intended taking today off but since I’d slept well and had a story rolling around in my mind, I thought I’d do the prepping to start on Monday.
I found photos of my characters—there’s no guarantee my publisher will use the pictures I’ve chosen on Shutter Stock—found their names and started another book.
I’ve begun another Slick Rock Story, and would you believe I managed to get down 6000 words on the first day? That usually never, ever happens.

What Have I Been Reading?
I haven’t been reading much since I’ve been so tired at the end of each day. However, I did pick up a copy of Melissa Haag’s Judgement of the Six Series Bundle Books 1-3 and I’ve read the first story.
I liked it, however, at times there was too much detail which became tedious to get through and there was no spice. There were no sex scenes, so I guess you’d call this a sweet romance.
I wasn’t sure if I liked the hero since he was described as being dirty and dressed in rags when he was first introduced and though I did grow to like him, the story would have been much better if the heroine had been older than eighteen and there was some actual romance involved.
I will leave it there for now.
Enjoy your week ahead, until next week.
Love,
