A Mattress In A Box? But How?
Rambling On… 16 April 2021.
Sorry there wasn’t a newsletter last week. My man was wrecked when he got home at around six Friday night.
He’d started a new job on Tuesday for a knock down and rebuild of a fence. While he charged accordingly the demolition exhausted him. Normally it only takes half a day or up to a full day to remove an old fence, but not this one. This sixty odd meters fence was covered with vines that had to be cut back. Underneath the vines was wire mesh and even concreters rio. It was very hard work, and he was so tired, he nearly fell asleep before dinner.
I didn’t have the heart to ask him to spend an hour or more doing stuff for me after such a labour-intensive week.
I never thought I’d ever buy a mattress in a box and like it.
Hubby and I need a new mattress for our off-road caravan and since the one on our bed is okay, not great but okay, we decided to do a bit of research. We bought the mattress online and had it delivered to the door. Since there was a hundred-day guarantee return policy, we weren’t too worried if we didn’t like the new mattress.
It has a layer of pocket springs as well as three layers of “air grown” foam, each with different densities. I was worried I wouldn’t like it as I am a very hot sleeper. Once I warm up, I can’t cool off and have trouble falling and/or staying asleep. I don’t have that problem with this bed. The mattress doesn’t retain heat so I am not overheating and it’s the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept on.
We’ve had quite a few different mattresses over the years, trying to accommodate both my and my husbands’ needs and preferences but none of the shop bought beds have measured up.
This one does.
I’m sure you all know which mattress I’m talking about since it’s advertised on the TV a lot.
I would recommend this one to everyone because you can swap and change the foam to suit individual needs on the same bad. Best bed ever.
My daughter is coming down this weekend. She should be here soon.
Her, my son, and my son’s girlfriend who also happens to be my daughter’s best friend are heading out for a night on the town.
My man and I aren’t going with them, since we’re not much for partying anymore, but it will be great to see and catch up with my girl again.

I’m writing a new shifter series titled Alaskan Wildlands. I’m about halfway through the story and am loving how things are panning out.
Courtney Hazel is in for a bit of a wild ride and it’s up to her heroes to convince her she’s the right woman for them. That is going to be difficult since the three Crocker brothers are part animal, but an animal no one has ever seen or heard about before.
I’m not telling you anymore because I don’t want to spoil things but I’m having fun writing this story.

What Have I Been Reading?
I finished reading Alex Grayson’s Endless Obsession, (the Consumed Series).
I was hooked from the first word even though I wasn’t sure if I should like the story. However, when everything comes to light and was explained I cried. The story is steaming, engrossing, and keeps you on the edge of your seat from the first page to the last.
I would recommend this contemporary romance book to anyone who wants to go for a rocky ride.
I will leave it there for now.
